New Website on Open Civic Hardware
I’ve started up a new blog that will hopefully be more maintained than this one: www.opencivichardware.org. Â The idea of civic hardware came about from a presenter from Transportation Camp DC 2013. Â Civic hardware are things created to help with a city (or state, or region). Â It could be things like traffic counters, data loggers, tools to help with public involvement, or infrastructure.
The idea of this site is similar in nature to Hack-A-Day, but with a focus on civic hardware. Â There will probably be a lot of things that can be cross-posted to both. Â Additionally, look for things on this blog to be cross-posted there.
